Thanks for your interest in working with TUBPANGA.
We are a Los Angeles based Alfresco Bathing design studio. We specialize in designing and building outdoor bathing Spaces. These Spaces typically feature saunas, hot tubs, cold plunges, decks, stone work, steam showers and traditional showers. We refer to these spaces as Bathhouses. While our projects are mostly outdoors, we do select interior bathing projects as well.
Our mission is to put the bath back in nature, and YOU in the bath.

Dream it
It all begins with an idea. For Tubpanga, we want to hear about yours and help you bring them to life - whether that be a clawfoot in the backyard or a sauna/cold plunge/bath trio on a triangular hardwood deck.
We’re down for it all.
-
Build it
We work with sustainably grown woods - such as Redwood, Cedar - and preserve it using the ancient Japanese method Shou Sugi Ban. This method involves burning the outer layer of the wood, which seals it from the elements and insects, and leaves an elegant finish.

Water it
Copper the old way. We plumb with copper when ever possible, for its beauty, environmental superiority, and longevity. We also offer several water filtration systems, with an emphasis on removing the chlorine and other chemicals prominent in all of Los Angeles’ city water.
Putting the bath back in nature.

I believe bathing outdoors is as natural as breathing or making love.
I believe bathing outdoors is a necessary exercise for good mental health.
I believe bathing outdoors, especially with heated water on a chilly afternoon to be one of greatest visceral luxuries one can experience in a human body.
Then again, I was born in a clawfoot bathtub, so I would believe these things.
